You were given Pantone's color predictions for Spring to draw inspiration from. What colors did you end up selecting and why? "What colors didn't I select would be a better question. Haha. I love Spring and I love Spring colors."

What does Springtime mean to you?
"Beds of tulips, Easter dresses, sweet little things, pretty colors, and bags of jellybeans."

How did you try to translate that into your work?
"Since Spring comes relatively late in Minnesota, I start looking for it in sneaky places as soon as I can. These buttons remind me not only of girly dresses, but I also see in them beds of flowers poking through the white snow. And buttons just say "pretty little pieces of creativity,” and to me that means Spring."

Will this work be available as a print? "Yes, in my shop as a 5.36in x 8in print, centered on an 8in x 10in sheet of photo paper, for $20."

Complete this sentence, "I'd love if someday I could: I'd love if someday I could be an inspiration to others. I'd love to be an indie artist success story and help others become one too. And I'd also love if someday my husband and I could travel to all the places on our wish list!"
